Corben, my long lost British son

Ok, so it was time to hit Walmart on a dreaded Friday afternoon. Kamryn was at a slumber party and Corben was out playing in the neighborhood with friends. . .So I gather up Chloe and my list and head out to round up the boy. I find him down at his friend's house. . . he asks can his friend come along? hmmm. . . what 12 year old boy wants to come along grocery shopping? But oh well, so I say yes.

So. . . in Walmart I make the tremendous decision to let Corben and Alex check out the games in electronics and the toys whilst Chloe and I gather the needed supplies. . .Alex has his cell phone and they call me multiple times throughout the 30 or so minutes it takes me to get what I need.

So. . .seems they were roaming the electronics and toy area all the while speaking in British accents. . .now let me say, Corben can do a pretty good impression of our friends across the big pond. . .on the other hand. . .Alex comes from a bilingual house and while he speaks English VERY well, he still has the heavy Hispanic accent. . .so his British accent is quite HILARIOUS!! Anyway, seems they had a great time. . .and what's the harm?

So, then they claim to be STARVING as most 12 year boys are at any waking hour. . .so we head to Taco Bell before we go home. . . we eat. . .they are still hungry so I throw 5 dollars at them and tell them I'm waiting in the car with Chloe because she is wanting to run all over the place like a madwoman. So. . .here comes the British act again. . apparently they had the entire resturaunt laughing at them by the time they left. . .even the cute 8th gradish girls by the door were waving at them all the way to the car. . .ahhh. . . to be 12 again!!!
